Permalink Better Than the Previous Film Witchcraft 15: Blood Rose (2016) ** (out of 4) After the events from the previous film, Rose (Molly Dougherty) has come to terms with her having special powers. Pretty soon Sharon (Noel VanBrocklin) is using Rose's powers for her own deadly needs. Director David Palmieri returns for this fifteenth (!!!! ) entry in the incredibly long-running series. This film here picks up right where the previous one left off so it really does feel as if you're watching an extremely long film and especially when you watch them back-to-back like I did. With that said, all of the "bad" things that were in part fourteen (as well as the rest of the series) are on hand here but at the same time I found this one to be slightly more entertaining. As you'd expect, going in expecting some sort of high art isn't the right thing to do. The film is pretty much like the rest as there's a plot dealing with witches and there's some nudity, sex and violence thrown in as well.

It's a dragged-out project filled with lame dialogue and over-emphasised line delivery; perhaps the version I saw on Amazon Prime was censored, but there was little in the way of sex or nudity - a staple of the series - and exactly one bad CGI scene and one cheesy gore scene. 0 out of 0 found this helpful. In 1988 a little movie called Witchcraft was unleashed on the world. Here we are in 2015, and people are still making these movies. In fact, this year alone three of them have been filmed back-to-back. According to the official Witchcraft Facebook page, Witchcraft 14: Angel of Death, Witchcraft 15: Blood Rose, and Witchcraft 16: Hollywood Coven are all on their way! The only question… who's watching these movies?!? Anyone? Is there some raging rabid fanbase salivating for more? Directed by David Palmieri, Witchcraft 14: Angel of Death, Witchcraft 15: Blood Rose, and Witchcraft 16: Hollywood Coven star Molly Dougherty, Noël VanBrocklin, Berna Roberts, and Leroy Castanon. The films were shot over a three-week period. No synopses are available to this time. You're such an inspiration for the ways that I will never, ever choose to be.
