Tornati nel campo dove la mandria è stata affidata al giovane Button, i quattro organizzano un'offensiva per vendicare l'aggressione a Mose e le minacce. Boss e Charley raggiungono nottetempo gli uomini che Baxter aveva destinato a dare seguito alle minacce nei loro confronti, li umiliano, li disarmano e fanno fuggire i cavalli. Ignorano però che un'altra parte di uomini si era già diretta contro il loro accampamento e così, quando vi tornano, trovano Mose ucciso e il ragazzo gravemente ferito. Boss e Charley tornano quindi nuovamente in città per affidare Button alle cure del medico e preparare un'offensiva definitiva. Il medico però è accorso a curare gli uomini di Baxter, feriti in conseguenza degli ultimi scontri. Così è la sorella Sue ad occuparsi di Button, fraternizzando con i mandriani verso uno dei quali, Charley, nasce un sentimento immediatamente ricambiato. Dopo un crescendo di tensioni, Boss e Charley danno vita ad una gigantesca sparatoria, dalla quale escono feriti ma vittoriosi.

si ce n'est que je ne sais pas si c'est le genre de film qui est là pour habituer les jeunes enfants à l'esthétique MTV, ou si c'est l'inverse, si l'esthétique MTV rend ce genre de film tolérable pour la jeunesse. On peut se le demander tant elle a été cassée par les critiques du monde entier mais malheureusement pour tous les détracteurs de cette saga, elle ne compte pas s'arrêter tout de suite et pour cause, nos enfants adorent regarder des films avec des écureuils qui chantent leurs chansons préférés. C'est donc un quatrième épisode pour la saga et un nouveau délire...
