I'm a fan of the classic black tower, but it doesn't have to be really big. It'll be fitting under a desk. A cool glowing red light or something is always fun but definitely not essential. A window seeing inside is fun, but I'm OK without such a thing if it's going to drive the price up. Black is great. Think "Batman. " Quiet is really really key. Lots of front USB ports, please. Maybe even 1-2 firewire ports if there's room somewhere. Do you need a copy of Windows included in the budget? If you do need one included, do you have a preference? No, I have a licensed copy of Windows 10 Pro 64-bit. Extra info or particulars: Thank you very much for your help and advice!! Is my budget realistic? If not, what should it be?

What will you be doing with this PC? Be as specific as possible, and include specific games or programs you will be using. Working my day job, which mostly means using Chrome/Firefox. Tons of video calls using a wireless headset w/USB dongle + logitech USB wired webcam. Also Zoom, lots of zoom. Downloading torrents (music, movies, tv mostly) with uTorrent. Hosting my media streaming services - Squeezeserver, Plex. (media stored on a NAS) Music recording & production using Reason 5 and Ableton 10 (64-bit) with a USB audio interface connected + a MIDI-to-USB keyboard. Other frequently used programs: calibre; evernote; greenshot; foobar2000; spotify; VLC This will be an always-on machine, since it doubles as a media server. Will need to support dual-monitors and a hard-wired connection to the router. I would love to be able to have 2 firefoxes running with a ton of open tabs and also be running Ableton and Reason at the same time and not have the machine freak out. I like to multi-multi-multi-task.

Hey there guys I'm not really sure if this is the correct area to post this on but I figured I have a cracked game so why not ask and see I have been facing a problem for a while now. I have downloaded 3 different need for speed heat torrents and none of them seem to work, I run the verify bin and install them with 2g limited ram. Whenever I have to run either of them it gets stuck right after telling me I can't connect to EA. It literally freezes inside the car on the main menu I can see out the back window and it says toyo tires and something else and I have three button options but my whole pc freezes I have tried everything different torrents different sites and repacks, a similar thing happens with payback only this time I can choose different options in the menu but if I select career it freezes with the four white tiles loading in the corner If anyone can help please My pc: Intel I5 @3570k 3. 8ghz AMD Radeon HD 6850 1gb ddr5 8gb ddr3 ram @ 1333mhz Yes my graphics isn't the best but surely it would atleast load, it gives me no errors and all files are correct on both games I'm able to play gta 5 at medium settings averaging 60fps and assetto corsa perfectly fine so what's the issue Any help would be great:/ Haven't found the same issue anywhere.

(ex: SSD, large amount of storage or a RAID setup, CUDA or OpenCL support, etc) I'd love to get 2 SSDs in a RAID-0 for my C drive and plan to re-use 2 HDDs from my current PC in a RAID-1 or a RAID-5 for my data drive I'd like to get a CD/DVD+RW drive, because I'm old school and occasionally rip a CD or burn a DVD of something. Hi all! So I am looking for info and help and I am sure it's written somewhere and has been answered a lot but I am just still lost:/ and want to know if UnRaid is even for me. Backstory: I have a WD PR4100, 4x 10TB HDD. It's good. Raid 1+0. 20TB backups and 20TB files. Worked great for me and what o wanted but sadly, WD does not really have many add-ons/plugins so I wanted to get away from that. I wanted to go to Synology, but they are expensive and I really wanted more power. I decided to make my own NAS with spear parts I had around and this is what I have together. -Intel Core i5-4670K 3. 4 GHz Quad-Core Processor -ASRock Z97E-ITX/ac Mini ITX LGA1150 Motherboard -Team Xtreem 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR3-2666 Memory -Seasonic 650W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular Power Supply -n560gtx-ti twin frozr ii/oc -Vector RS -5x 10TB HDD -1x 1TB SSD So I have UnRaid running already. I was super excited about this until I started reading about the "split level" and maybe losing data. With my WD NAS, all my data was saved and backed up to the spear HDD, but with UnRaid I was reading that you can lose your data even with the parity drives because there is "no raid".
