The MTV we have now is nothing like what made it such a prominent channel to begin with. level 2 Well considering the new Beavis and Butthead was just them bashing on jersey shore and teen mom or other programs MTV was currently airing, it didn't really surprise me... I miss it. I don't even know what shows MTV has anymore... Seems like it's only re-runs these days... level 2 Well, to be fair, it also didn't feature constantly ballooning youtube star Laci Green, nor did it have enough social issues shoved into it. level 2 Beavis was so on point with his shit talking in the revival. Judge said there's a chance it can still come back. It's kind of stuck in limbo. level 2 That sucks it might just be because I was born the same year the movie came out but I liked the 2011 episodes much more than the old ones, the old ones were good but the format of the new one took it to a higher level imo. level 2 I think its time mike judge goes to netflix. level 2 I like the revival but I feel it lost the satire the original run had because America really is that dumb now. level 2 Probably didn't help that they were just shitting all over the shows that MTV wanted people to watch. I'm also embarrassed to admit that I only realised how clever the commentary was when I watched the new eps. This movie is still funny as always from start to finish. This movie always has a lot of great funny memorable moments that I still laugh at. People who are not fans of the show will probably won't like this movie as much, but I still love both the show and the movie. Not to mention, the animation still holds up very well. "

level 1 Classic movie. It's a shame that MTV canceled that "Beavis and Butthead" revival back in 2011. It was amazingly well done. Mike Judge basically said a new MTV exec came in and despite the show getting some of the highest ratings, it didn't fit into their "teen girl demo" level 2 They needed the space for 8 hours of ridiculousness a day. level 2 I wondered what happened with that. This movie was a perfect ending to the original TV series.
