Have you ever experienced a situation where something you were super-hyped for was different than you initially expected, but in the end you loved it the same? I had this with Avengers: Endgame and AOT when I began reading the manga three years ago. I ended up enjoying both of them, but the point I want to make is this: while Avengers did all of that in less than 3 hours, The Final Season might do that in a larger amount of time because of its episodic nature and weekly schedule. I could be wrong, but I suppose that a lot of people who sticked only to the anime could find difficult getting into the story and appreciating it from the start. I won't make huge spoilers here (I only conferm minor contextual details that can be already gathered from the trailer, but I will put them under spoiler-tag anyway). Also, I don't know how MAPPA will handle the adaptation, so I'm basing my advice on the assumption that the anime will follow faithfully the source material. My first reaction as a manga reader was a mixture of confusion and frustration, but I had the privilege to catch up quickly with the story and immersing into it.

J'en suis très heureuse, ce n'est pas cela mais je pense qu'il faut arrêter de faire ressusciter les personnages sous prétexte que ce sont des personnages principaux! Enfin, ce n'est qu'une question de point de vue mais je trouve que cela fait trop... Sinon, ce que j'ai particulièrement aimé dans ce tome-ci, c'est le fait que l'auteure mette en avant les pires sentiments de ses personnages: jusqu'ici, seul Damon était un « héro » peu conventionnel... avec des défauts. Maintenant, les autres y ont droit aussi. Et personnellement, je trouve que ça renforce l'histoire. On s'identifie beaucoup mieux aux héros qui, je trouve, sont plus humains... plus comme vous et moi! L'intrigue de ce tome est originale: on ne tombe pas dans le déjà vu et ce pour notre plus grand plaisir!!! En conclusion, à tous ceux qui aiment les histoires de vampires et/ou qui ont commencé la série, je vous conseille de vous procurer ce 6ème tome au plus vite! Vous allez adorer le dévorer!!!
