Okay, I've been on a horror dvd/Blu-ray online shopping spree, and some of the movies I've come across on my must-buy list are listed as "rare" and are much pricier and harder to find than others. Some examples: I saw all of these listed as "rare" on eBay, and the amazon prices reflect this as well (compared to other movies from similar years/ directors/ etc. ) Rose Red (2002) - $73. 93 Prime Martyrs [Unrated] (2008) - $46. 99 Amazon Berberian Sound Studio (2012), Baskin (2015), Tideland (2005), A Field in England (2013) - $20+ So, I'm just curious why these movies/editions are "rare"? Were there only limited amount released? Are these going to become even harder to find/more expensive in the future? And, have you come across any movies like this?
